Michael Andrew Wells (born 9 April 1960) is an American businessman.
He was the chief executive of Prudential plc, a British multinational life insurance and financial services company, from 2015 to 2022. Wells joined Athora, a European savings and retirement group, in July 2022, where he is Group CEO.
Early life
Wells graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science degree.[1]
Career
After graduating, he spent ten years working for a variety of financial services firms in the US, including Wood Logan, Smith Barney, McGinness & Associates and Dean Witter.[2]
