Mike's reputation developed as a result of the thousands of golfers who have successfully improved their games at his award-winning golf academy, in addition to the recognition he's received from industry leaders and his peers.
Mike is the 1999 National PGA Teacher of the Year, and a five-time Colorado PGA Teacher of the Year.
He is a featured instruction editor for Golf Digest magazine, was voted number eight of Golf Digest's America's 50 Greatest Teachers, as well as, number one in the state of Colorado. Mike makes regular appearances on The Golf Channel and he has authored a book titled The Scrambler's Dozen - 12 Shots Every Golfer Needs To Score Like The Pros.
Not only is Mike recognized by Golf Magazine as one of the Top 100 Teaching Professionals in America, but the McGetrick Golf Academy has been a Golf Magazine Top 25 Golf School since 1997.
