The Global Infectious Diseases (Global ID) Program works to improve the survival rates for children with infectious diseases, especially those with depressed immunity, and to lower their risk of getting infected.

The Global ID Program collaborates with local health care professionals at international sites to raise care and infection prevention standards and promote evidence-based best practices.

With a team of educators, subject matter experts and global collaborators, Global ID creates and administers up-to-date training resources to enhance the clinical workforce worldwide.

The program’s initiatives help clinicians gain the knowledge, access to technology and organizational skills needed to prevent, diagnose, manage and minimize the consequences of infectious diseases in children, particularly those with cancer.
