Lance Naik Muhammad Mahfuz Shaheed is one of those ten great sons of this country, who in the line of duty and in defence of their country, showed extra ordinary bravery and courage and were awarded with the highest military award of the land, Nishan-e-Haider. 

Lance Naik Muhammad Mahfuz s/o Meherban Khan, was born in in a small village Pind Malkan now renamed in his honour as Mahufazabad, district Rawalpindi, now in the vicinity of sprawling Islamabad city and actually within the limits of Islamabad Capital Territory.

It is situated only 27 kms away from the Zero Point. One can easily reach there while turning towards Kahuta Road from the Islamabad Highway. The tomb is located at  33&#;35'"N, 73&#;15'"E.
